  • How can I update my email address?

    You can change your email address for the website using the Preferences page – there’s a link to ‘Preferences’ on your trading platform. This will update your address for website messages but not for alerts or emailed trade confirmations. You’ll need to change alert email addresses for each alert, as you may have more than one valid address. To change your email address for trading confirmations, complete an Electronic confirmation authority form.

  • What is a login password?

    Your login password is used with your login code to enter the website. When you first open an account, we’ll email you a random password that you can change using the ‘Preferences’ page – there is a link to ‘Preferences’ on your stockbroking platform. Make sure no one else knows your login password.

  • How do I log into my CMC Markets account?

    Once you have received confirmation that your account has been opened and you have verified your email address, you can log in via our website. To sign in you will need to enter your registered email address and password as used on your application form, then, select live or demo account.

  • What is a Trading PIN and can I change it?

    Your Trading PIN is used when placing orders on the platform.

    When you first log into the platform you will be asked to create a Trading PIN and this can be changed from the 'Trading setttings' page from within the stockbroking platform (selection can be made from the 'Settings' (cog icon) menu). Make sure no one else knows your Trading PIN.
