Can you filter by market?

Our platform gives you the option to browse world headlines in three ways, which we have described in more detail below.

1. General news

When you open the Reuters section using the main navigational tab, this will display a general news feed. This may include headlines about governmental updates such as interest rates and inflation, company earnings reports, dividend adjustments for specific stocks and indices, breaking news on war or politics, appreciation or depreciation of currencies, and many more.

2. Filter by watchlists

If you want to be more specific, you can browse only articles relating to your personalised watchlists. These can be forex and stocks-related, as show in the image below, or the feature will automatically feed news through major world indices like the FTSE 100 and DAX 30.

3. Filter by individual instrument

If you only want to view news related to a specific instrument, you can do so. Find your instrument by navigating through the ‘Products’ tab or using the search bar, and open its chart. Click on the menu button and select ‘Reuters News’ and this should bring up a live feed of headlines related to your chosen asset.

Key features of our Reuters economic calendar
