Azeem Sheriff

Azeem Sheriff is a Markets Analyst for CMC Markets APAC & Canada, and is based in the Sydney office in Australia.

He provides global macroeconomic commentary and detailed analysis of news events that impact domestic and international financial markets.

He focuses on a combination of technical and fundamental analysis. His passion lies in identifying the relationship between global and domestic events, and the impact on economies and ultimately the influence on investors.

Prior to CMC Markets, Azeem has 5+ years financial markets experience working extensively across a number of desks in FX and rates derivatives, covering sales, trading and dealing/execution and was responsible for providing bespoke FX and rates hedging solutions, research and potential strategies.

He holds a number of industry qualifications, including a B.Commerce (Major in Finance & Accounting) via Macquarie University and the Australian Financial Markets Association.
