## Spanish share examples

The commission rate on a Spanish share CFD is 0.10%, subject to a minimum commission charge of €9.00.

A 2500 unit trade in Banco Santander at a price of 5.20 would incur a commission of €13.00 based on the following calculation:

2500 (units) x 5.20 (price) = €13,000 x 0.10% = €13.00

But a 1000 unit trade in Banco Santander at a price of 5.20 would incur a minimum commission charge of €9.00

1000 (units) x 5.20 (price) = €5200 x 0.10% = €5.20

Since the actual commission on this trade is less than our €9.00 minimum commission charge, we have instead applied the minimum commission charge of €9.00.

## US share example

The commission for a US share is 2 US cents per share, subject to a minimum commission charge of \$10.

So a 600 unit trade in Caterpillar at a price of 80.95 would incur a commission of \$12.00 based on the following calculation:

600 (units) x \$0.02 (commission charge per unit) = \$12.00

But a 300 unit trade in Caterpillar at a price of 80.95 would incur a minimum commission charge of \$10.00 based on the following calculation:

300 (units) x \$0.02 (commission charge per unit) = \$6.00

The actual commission on this trade is less than the \$10.00 minimum commission charge on US share CFDs, so instead the minimum commission charge of \$10.00 is applied.
