Our fully integrated online international shares functionality gives you access to a growing number of global markets, all within a single trading account. This walkthrough will guide you through the key features available when trading international shares.
Easy Navigation
Using the toolbar function: hover over the headings in our convenient and easy-to-use toolbar to select the tools or products you are looking for. The first time you log in, you will default to the current home page showing Australian equities. You can easily navigate between international markets by clicking on the drop-down list and selecting a different country.
After logging off, your last selected market will appear the next time you log in.
Search Functionality
Search all trading instruments across markets by using the search bar located at the top left of your screen. Simply type in the instrument code and select your preferred match. The country’s flag is displayed next to the instrument code to make selection clearer.
Integrated Research
Our platform offers integrated research functionality, including:
Morningstar and Four Screener: access comprehensive stock reports, market trends, and risk portfolios for both domestic and international equities.
Fundamental analysis: view financials, company information, and ratios and market insights: read regular updates from our in-house analysts in the Market Insights tab to understand market movements.
Integrated watchlists: stocks will display in their local currency, giving you a comprehensive view of the market. You can also include stocks from any market on a single watchlist.
Market data packages: choose from a range of market data packages, including delayed or streaming data feeds. The price guides for these services can be found on the Market Data Subscriptions page.
Placing a Trade
Placing a trade is simple—hover over the trade menu, select ‘Buy/Sell,’ and enter the stock code. Choose your stock from the range of exchanges, complete the remaining fields, and select ‘Place Order'.
All prices are quoted in the currency of the underlying equity. For your convenience, the order ticket converts the total consideration into Australian dollars, and the up-to-date FX rate is outlined on the ticket.
Tracking Your Position
Easily track your position by selecting the 'Account' tab. Hover over ‘Account’ and select ‘Stock Holdings’ to view your portfolio.
A unique feature of our platform is the ability to manage all domestic and international holdings on a single page. Prices are displayed in both local and Australian currencies for reporting needs.
