How do I withdraw funds from my CMC Markets account?
In the platform or app, go to the 'Funding' tab, then select 'Withdraw'. Next, choose whether to withdraw by card or bank transfer. If you've registered a bank account with us, withdrawals requested before the cut-off time (4pm in the UK; 11am outside the UK) will be processed the same day.
Additionally, you can set up the two-factor authentication (2FA) security measure on your account(s) for withdrawals and logging in. Once you've switched on 2FA for your account, it will become a mandatory step for withdrawals. Find out how to set up 2FA
How long does it take to withdraw funds?
Card withdrawals: The time it takes to process withdrawals varies by card issuer. Some card issuers process withdrawals within an hour; with other card issuers, withdrawals can take up to five working days.
Standard bank withdrawals: For domestic banks in the UK, withdrawals may take one to two working days to reach your account. For international banks, expect withdrawals to take three to five working days (subject to UK banking hours).

Why do I need to set up bank details?
You need to set up bank details to transfer funds to your bank account. Once your bank details have been registered and verified, your bank account will be visible as a withdrawal destination when you go to the ‘Funding’ tab and select ‘Withdrawal’. As we can't process payments to or from third parties, you may be required to provide additional documentation to prove ownership of the bank account.
How much can I withdraw to my card?
You can withdraw a maximum of $40,000 (or your account currency equivalent) to your card in any 24-hour period. Our system tracks a maximum withdrawal limit in US dollars, so the equivalent amount in a different currency, such as pound sterling, is likely to vary from day to day. We're currently unable to support card withdrawals for corporate accounts – please request a bank withdrawal instead.
How much can I withdraw to my registered bank account?
There’s no limit to the amount you can withdraw to your registered bank account.
Are there any charges for making a withdrawal?

How do I register my bank account?
You can register your bank details by selecting the ‘Funding’ tab, or the ‘Withdrawal’ window in the Account tab, then choosing ‘Bank transfer’. If you haven't already registered your bank details, you'll be presented with a screen titled ‘Add your bank account’. Enter your details and submit the information. Your details should then be processed within 24 hours. If we need any further information, our client management team will contact you.

What is the ‘Available Amount’ when withdrawing to a card?
The ‘Available Amount’ is the total amount you have in your account that you can withdraw.
What is the ‘Withdrawal Limit’?
The ‘Withdrawal Limit’ is the net available amount that can be withdrawn to your chosen destination. Withdrawals to a registered bank account are unlimited, but withdrawals to some cards may be subject to limits.
Please note that withdrawals from CFD trading accounts to cards are capped at the amount that you have paid into your CFD trading account using that card in the last 12 months. For example, if you used Card A to deposit £1,000 into your CFD trading account, and your account value later reached £1,500, you would only be able to withdraw a maximum of £1,000 to Card A. If you wished to withdraw the remaining £500, you would need to transfer that amount to your bank account. If we apply the same scenario to a spread betting account, you would be able to withdraw the full amount of £1,500 to Card A.
Why is my ‘Withdrawal Limit’ £0 when I attempt to withdraw funds to my card?
We cannot transfer funds to your card if you haven’t funded your CMC Markets account with a registered card in the last 12 months, or if your card has expired. In these cases, your ‘Withdrawal Limit’ may display as £0. However, you may still be able to withdraw funds to your registered bank account.
What are the client management team's operating hours?

Please note that bank transfers received after 6pm (UK time) will be processed the next business day. Card payments should be processed as normal outside of these hours.
Do I need to notify CMC markets if my address changes?
If the billing address for your card doesn’t match the address we hold on record for you, we may be unable to process your payments. Let us and your card issuer know if your address changes. If you've changed address, please contact us using the ‘Live Help’ feature on the platform (within the ‘Support’ menu).
What happens if my bank card is lost, damaged or stolen?
If your bank card is lost, damaged or stolen, notify your bank immediately and call us on +44 (0)20 7170 8200, and we will remove the relevant card(s) from your account. You can also remove your card(s) from your trading account yourself if you wish.
