SDI Group (formerly known as Scientific Digital Imaging) is a British designer and manufacturer of scientific and technology products to serve the life science, healthcare, consumer manufacturing, astronomy, and art conservation markets. It was founded in 2007 and has headquarters in Cambridge. SDI operates through two segments: digital imaging and sensors and control. The digital imaging segment uses complex systems and software developed by its Synoptics, Atik and Graticules Optics brands. The sensors and control segment combines a larger number of businesses, including Sentek, MPB Industries, Chell Instruments, Monmouth Scientific, Uniform Engineering, and Applied Thermal Control. The company also provides components, accessories, and services for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). SDI Group stock is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
