Jochen Stanzl, CFTe
Jochen Stanzl is a certified financial technician (CFTe) at the International Federation of Technical Analysts (IFTA). He has a background in macro analysis of FX flows, bonds, commodities and stock market indices, and adopts a combined approach incorporating technical and fundamental analysis.
Jochen began his career in financial services as a co-founder of BoerseGo AG, where he worked for 18 years on the brands GodmodeTrader, Guidants and Jandaya, providing market commentary and financial analysis.
He joined CMC Markets Germany in 2015 and now applies his years of experience to analysing the financial markets and providing insightful commentary to the media and our clients.
He is a regular face on TV channels such as Welt, Tagesschau and n-tv and is regularly quoted by Reuters, Handelsblatt and DPA. Jochen also presents 'CMC Espresso', a daily market outlook video that can be viewed on CMC Markets’ German YouTube channel.
