The company allows its customer base of 10 million users to hold, convert, and send over 50 currencies through its app with no hidden fees. Wise’s services help to facilitate overseas payments and transfers in more than 80 countries, as well as receiving salaries and pensions if living abroad. The company boasts high-profile investors such as Richard Branson and Max Levchin and has partnered over the years with other fintech companies such as Monzo and GoCardless.
