Snap is a US social media company that specialises in camera-utilising products and services. It was founded in 2011 and has headquarters in California. Among its well-known creations are multimedia mobile apps Snapchat and Bitmoji, which allow users to share images limited to a certain timeframe, as well as Spectacles, a pair of smart glasses that are dedicated to bringing augmented reality to life. Through Snapchat, the company has almost 300m daily active users.
