It was established in 1968 by the merger of National Provincial Bank and Westminster Bank, and then it joined The Royal Bank of Scotland Group, which re-branded in 2020. The company has headquarters in Edinburgh. NatWest offers services in many sectors, such as personal and business banking, private banking, insurance and corporate finance.
