Gladstone Investment is a business development and private equity fund that belongs to the Gladstone Companies family, founded in 2005 and headquartered in Virginia. It focuses on acquiring mature, lower middle-market companies, providing both equity and debt capital. Its debt investments come in the form of three types of loans: senior term loans, senior subordinated loans and junior subordinated debt. As a partner in mainly buyout transactions, Gladstone can provide capital of up to $30m per transaction.
