Q: Which trading platform is more suitable for me?

The platform that is most suitable for you depends partly on the product and instrument you would like to trade. MetaTrader 4 enables you to trade CFDs on a large number of forex pairs, as well as all the major indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies. You have to download the platform, and there are an array of advanced features and tools. With MT4, you can also download or create programs called Expert Advisors, which are algorithms that can monitor and automate your trading.

Q: Do I need to download or install any software?

No – you can create an account and log in to our web-based platform using your chosen browser. You'll be able to access the financial markets without installing any special software.

Q: Is it free to open an account?

There's no cost when opening a live trading account with us. You can also view prices and use tools such as charts, Reuters news or Morningstar quantitative equity reports, free of charge. However, you'll need to deposit funds in your account to place a trade.

Q: Is CMC Markets regulated?
