Professor of Applied Economics at Johns Hopkins University and Senior Fellow at the Cato Institute

Steve H. Hanke’s career as an economist, academic and advisor has been an illustrious one so far. He has been a leading voice on currency reform and hyperinflation over the last four decades, advising world leaders while actively trading equities and commodities. He was also the president of Toronto Trust Argentina, one of the world’s best-performing mutual funds.

Steve currently holds the post of professor of applied economics at Johns Hopkins University and is a senior fellow at the Cato Institute.
