Will US non-farm payrolls recover?

Last month’s shocking number of just 38,000 jobs created in May's non-farm payrolls report, and the subsequent downward revision to 59,000 for the previous month's data, has sparked serious concerns about the health of the US labour market.

This, coupled with the UK referendum on EU membership, has probably put paid to the prospect of any sort of tightening this year, irrespective of how strong next Friday's (8 July) June number comes in.
