Suncorp Share Trade Platform customer transition to CMC Markets Invest

This transition means you will become a direct client of CMC Markets, accessing a range of additional benefits currently unavailable on the Suncorp Share Trade platform including improved pricing, such as access to $0 brokerage when you buy Aussie shares under $1,000 (limited to one buy order per stock per trading day) and $0 brokerage (Foreign Exchange (FX) spreads apply) when you trade US, UK, Canadian and Japanese markets. Additionally you'll get access to exclusive educational tools and a cutting-edge mobile app.

Your trading account will continue to operate as it currently does with your login and password unchanged. From Wednesday, 29 June 2022 (after market hours) you will be able to login via CMC Markets Invest. You will notice that the branding will change to CMC Markets Invest on the platform and in the communications you receive. Otherwise, you can continue to use your Account as you do today, and your holdings will not be impacted.

Suncorp Bank and CMC Markets have agreed to transition customers from Suncorp Share Trade to CMC Markets as part of Suncorp Bank’s strategy to focus on core banking services. CMC Markets currently operates the Suncorp Share Trade Platform and this transition provides an opportunity to move customers to the CMC Markets Invest brand with minimal disruption, while offering additional benefits to you.

All Share Trade customers were transitioned to CMC Markets Invest on 29 June 2022. You received a communication advising of your successful transition across to CMC Markets Invest.

Your Share Trade account has already transitioned to CMC Markets Invest, you can choose to close your CMC Markets Invest account. To do this you will need to contact our Client Services Team on 1300 303 888 to close your account. Share Trading lines are open from 7:30am – 5:30pm (Sydney time), Monday–Friday.

You will still have your open orders and partially open orders once you have transitioned. These will be subject to the rate in which they were placed. If you would like to benefit from your new rate, you will need to cancel and re-place the order.

Your cash account will stay the same for the time being and you will be advised of any future changes. where applicable in line with your Terms and Conditions and other product documentation.

You watchlist will move across to CMC Markets Invest. Everything about your trading account will be the same; same great platform, same personalisation, just CMC branded and with extra benefits. 

Yes, these documents will be housed in the same place as before on the platform. You can access these documents under Account > Statements > EOFY Trading statement.

You can download the CMC Markets Invest app via the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

You will have the same login credentials and can use these to log into the CMC Markets Invest platform.
