  • What operating system or web browser should I use to access the share trading platform?

    The platform has been tested with the following operating systems and browsers:

    Operating systems for PC users

    • Windows 10
    • Windows 8
    • Windows 7

    Operating Systems for Mac users

    • Mac OSX

    Browsers for PC users
    We recommend using the most up to date browser your system will support:

    • Google Chrome (recommended for Pro platform)
    • Mozilla Firefox
    • Internet Explorer 9.0 or above (Internet Explorer 10 or above for the Pro platform)

    We recommend using the most up to date browser your system will support:

    • Safari
    • Google Chrome
    • Mozilla Firefox

    If your system doesn’t meet these minimum specifications, we can only offer limited support, and some functions on the platform may not work as expected. We recommend keeping your systems updated with any security releases and run the latest public (non-beta) versions of web browsers.

  • Can I use the platform on a Smart Phone or Tablet?

    Yes, we’ve built the CMC Markets Stockbroking mobile platform to help you stay on top of your trading on the go.

  • The internet seems slow. What’s wrong and how can I speed things up?

    Speed problems can have a number of causes. Try accessing different websites to see if only one site is slow, or all sites are affected. If the problem applies to all sites, or more than one, contact your internet service provider (ISP). If it’s only your stockbroking platform, please contact our client services team.

  • Can I access the CMC Markets Stockbroking platforms when I’m at work?

    This depends on your employer’s internet policy and whether they’ve installed firewalls or services that may prevent you accessing the platform.

  • Other technical questions?

    We can help you troubleshoot problems you may experiencing with the platform. If an issue appears to be related to your computer or internet connection, we can try and offer assistance but may need to refer you to your ISP or a computer support company.
